Joint Architecture
for Forward Denial

A sovereign targeting network and massed long-range precision fires

The Joint Architecture is grounded in the transparent-battlefield lessons of Ukraine and the Gulf, the operational geography of Australia's northern approaches, and the technological context of 2026. It is built to meet the requirement the 2026 National Defence Strategy sets: to deter through denial any attempt to project power against Australia through those approaches.

Its elements are a sovereign targeting network and massed long-range precision fires, able to be fielded from the early 2030s inside existing budgets.
